Award-winning development and production veteran with 15+ years in film, TV and advertising. Charity Bustamante started her career with the Associated Press in Central Europe and moved to publishing, features and documentaries at IMG, WME and Paramount Studio. She transitioned into branded content at Katalyst, Ashton Kutcher’s digital studio, and has since produced original and branded content in more than 15 countries for media, brands, Fortune 500 companies, science organizations, start-ups, and nonprofits. Her work has appeared on BBC, VH-1, Sundance Channel, and Canal+, while her short films have been featured in more than 30 international festivals. Bustamante’s roster of clients for commercial and digital projects has included GE, Lego, Nike, Absolut, Blizzard Entertainment, Beats by Dre, eBay, Hewlett Packard, Loren Stewart and Petco, among others.
Charity earned an MFA in screenwriting from Columbia University and a B.A in directing from UCLA School of Film and Television. She’s led classes in the history of documentary cinema and the history of the producer.
